Individual Tutoring

We love what we do and are more than happy to share our knowledge with you in all of our areas of expertise.

This is for you if...

• You are endeavoring to get started in you own photography business and would like to jump start your knowledge.
• Are a serious amateur and want to learn quickly.
• You need to perform a specific task for personal or business and want to find a solution to a problem you are having.

This is not for you if...

• You don't want an intensive learning environment.
• You are brand new to photography with no experience (we suggest the community colleges for starting out and getting some good practice time in).

The things we teach...

• All areas of photography including lighting (natural, studio flash, small flash, mixed and how to find attractive light outdoors with no lighting equipment), composition, camera equipment and handling, photographing people and pets, digital photography and any other areas in our expertise.
• Digital image manipulation in Photoshop and Painter for enhancement or image restoration.
• The business of photography, philosophy, pricing and organizational techniques to run a photography business successfully.

As you can see we don't believe in "secrets" - we love to help anyone who wants to be a better photographer whether you are an amateur or if you want to make a living with photography.

All tutoring sessions are by appointment.  The rates are $30 per half hour or $200 for 4 hours split into whatever periods of time are appropriate.
